(OOC: Panic rocks!)
Tsuzuki knocked on Hisoka's front door -- his arms were full of cakes and sweets. His partner had lost his guardian -- he would need sugar. But not alcohol -- never alcohol. "Hisoka!!! Why won't you open the door?!!!" Tsuzuki held back his tears at being neglected. Hisoka was probably still sleeping he decided. "HISOKA!!!"
+++
Rakuen gave short replies to the police about what happened in his apartment -- how could they be asking him this? At this time? Oh -- to not give him time to leave the country -- right. Why is it the person who always finds them is the suspect? "I didn't do anything -- I walked in and found my best friend dead!" Alright -- so he was slightly over-emotional right now. It was understandable -- too bad no one else thought that it was at the present moment.

Kayleigh walked slowly out of the north park exit and crossed the not-so-busy street. She was lucky to find such a big break in the traffic. A police car wizzed passed, sirens blaring and lights flashing. She'd stepped up onto the curb just in time for it to miss her by a fraction.
"Holy- Rrrrh....." She saighed with relief. "Note to self... Be more careful." Talking aloud gained her strange looks, but she didn't mind much. Humming along to the Panic! in her head, she made her way towards a small caffee she knew of. A Late' was a welcome treat on such a morning as this.

Hisoka pulled the covers off his form; anger radiating off him in waves. As he reached the door he undid the latch and pulled it open. "What do you want, Tsuzuki?" He asked at last, his anger over-powered by Tsuzuki's own emotions; they calmed him somewhat.

Sitting herself at a table in the back of Caitie's Coffee's, Kayleigh waited for her usual waitER to comeoffer her the breakfast menue; of course she wouldn't order, but it was their usual routine. And here he was, right on que. "Morning. Would you like to see this morning's breakfast menue?" He offered. "Um... Please." And he set about it. He would return with the menue, offer her a drink and she would refuse... For now. When he would return for the menue she would refuse a meal but order a Late'. This was how it had always been, ever since he first started out at Caitie's. He had been promoted since then, but always seemed to work the morning shift on the tables. Perhaps for their brief encounters?

Tsuzuki smiled brightly and let himself in -- despite Hisoka's grumblings -- laying out the sweets and cakes across a table he grinned at Hisoka. "I thought you'd want some sweets after what happened." He ignored Hisoka's groan of annoyance, "Come on Hisoka -- let's eat them together!"

Kayleigh sipped her Late' and read the newspaper.
HEADLINE Killer strikes again!
She didn't pay attention to anything but the cartoons, but this particular headline was close to home... This headline was AT home.

(OOC: Here's a long post to make up for my lack of posting previously.)
The small girl peeked over one of many black satin pillows before sitting up. As she searched her spacious room she found no trace of Kitten. A little curious now, she rose, stepping lightly onto her purple carpeting and making her way toward her wooden doors, each equally as high as two average male adults standing on each others shoulders and as wide as a single laying on his back.
The huge, brass chimaera's head turned in the girl's hand as she pushed slightly against the door and poked her head through the crack so as to scout the long hall outside for any occupants. Her house was usually alive with strangers her father liked to lend rooms to, he was a strange fellow and gave most people cold shivers, but she loved her father all the same.
Her white ringlets fell about her face as the rest of her body emerged from behind the now black door. Most doors in the large house were stained black on the side that opened onto the halls, all but her father's. She often begged for her door to be painted purple but her father did not take to the colour all too well, though he did not mind that the colour dominated his daughters room - a place he seldom visited.
Her feet grew quickly cold as she began to walk down the marble hall, she decided upon walking on the strip of royal red carpeting that cut a neat line down the center of each walkway. Her father liked the look of superiority and royalty that his house gave off. It made him feel superior and royal himself, and most seen him in such a light. True that he was an authority figure in his selected line of business, but somehow it did not seem right to Chlordiah how people seemed to hold a bow as he entered a room, or to avert their eyes when he walked past. All the same, he was her father so she supposed it matter not.
She descended the stairs at the end of the hall only to find herself on another level. Her bedroom, upon request, was on the third floor. There was no real reason for this other then the sheer fact that she liked the number three. Pressing forward, eventually she came to the ground floor and the food hall. The doors opened with a little effort and the noise erupted. The hall was filled with people of all races, shapes and sizes. They all were chatting amongst themselves, sipping their red wine and laughing, seemingly paying no attention to the young teen as she wandered down the center isle in search of her Kitten friend. Perhaps he would be close to the food, she thought while bending to search around peoples ankles; a place he liked to dwell.
"Hey, you! Child!" A voice hissed and she was caught by the neck of her pygamas and hoisted to her feet. "What are you doing here?" The man asked with a strange look in his eye that she could not quite place. His skin was almost translucent and his hair was get black, shoulder length and slicked back over his skull with a single strand of hair that hung over his left eye - a cold, shallow, iced gray eye. He wore robe-like clothes, everyone in the room did, Chlordiah had never noticed this before now. Her voice caught in her throat as the mans thin lips curled into some kind of a smirk. The sensation she felt deep down inside her stomach was indescribable as the fear arose.

(OOC: INsanity? Okies. I know it's corny but HEY, I'm doing one of those "only change as little as possible" things with it. So deal. ) Exiting the coffee shop, Kayleigh set her sights on the most direct route to Insanity, the new music store. Her pleated black, red and green mini flicked about her hips as she walked, staring down at her purple knee-high socks that scarcely showed over her Lash boots. Her black and white stripped singlet hugged her body nicely as she adjusted the gray hoody-jacket on her shoulders. Only a mile or so until she reached the store.

"I don't like sweets Tsuzuki," Hisoka sat down next to the perky guardian. Leaning back in his chair he stared at the ceiling; he could feel himself drift off again. Sighing he stretched before looking down at the sweets Tsuzuki was now inhaling. Without even noticing he picked on up and nibbled on it, it was too sweet but he continued with it damning Tsuzuki.

There it was, Insanity. She dashed across the road and into the store with a huge grin like a fat kid that was just promised a lollipop. Her hands ran away with her as she plucked CD after CD from the racks and examined them, her mouth watering with the vast selection as her mind exploded with questions about which ones she should purchase first.

Tsuzuki smiled brightly -- Hisoka was eating! Doing a little happy dance -- in his head of course -- he continued inhaling.
~+~
Rakuen sat in his neighbours apartment; he couldn't believe it. His friend was gone -- if he had arrived sooner maybe he could have stopped it. "Rakuen, shut up." His neighbour spoke from the small kitchen.
Rakuen looked up, "What? I wasn't--" He frowned as they laughed lightly -- as his neighbour sat next to him he pouted. He could feel Yuki's fingers in his hair and leant back.
"Stop thinking of the 'what if's and 'maybe's -- you couldn't have done anything." Rakuen stood abruptly.
"How do you know I couldn't have helped?! I could have saved him! If I had been back sooner I could of--I could of--" Rakuen dropped to his knees, crystalline tears making trails down his cheeks. Yuki sat down next to him and held him close. I know exactly why you couldn't do anything, Rak. With or without you there -- his mission would be completed and it was easier without witnesses.
Yuki dropped a small kiss on the top of his neighbour's head, "It'll be okay... one day."

Walking from the store - Insanity bag proudly swinging from her hand - Kayleigh skipped in the dirrection of home, after all, there was nothing else to do in this place - not alone or legal anyway.
She rounded a corner when, "Oof!"
The white haired girl jumped back and looked down at Kayleigh with a surprised expression before quickly turning and fleeing. "Wha-? Hey!" She rose to her feet and persued the red-eyed woman, but it was futile, the stranger was far too fast to even look like she was making good distance.
She sat on the curb and panted for a moment before standing and trudging back on course.
