Loreli stared as the thing looked to its right as though staring over its shoulder. The world seemed to freeze as she met eyes with a dark figure on the other side of the road. Where? Who?

Alekxandr struggled before looking up into the eyes of the disgruntled home owner, the eyes he knew well.
"Just get off me already." He tossed about again in another attempt to shift the body from on top of him. "Hooray, good for you, you saved your fucking camera. I'll give it back, just - fuck!" He felt the tingle run up his spine as the scent of another found its way to his nose - another - a male. They drew nearer, about a block away but still far too close for comfort.
"Waite get the fuck off! Now! Fucking get up!" His fight increased as he used all his strength to fight the other off. His teeth sharpened and his ear began to shift further up is scalp. "GET UP!" A crack sounded as his ribs shifted painfully and he cried out in pain.

Midnight moved closer to the edge.
"Waite get the fuck off! Now! Fucking get up!" Waite heard the shouts. He wasn’t deaf. Nigh heard them too.
Though he could not see the camera, he knew Waite loved that thing. It had taken pictures from field days to days in the city-fare and random snapshots to art photography
He peered closer. He could see shifting bone…
Waite recoiled at the shouts. His old friend was in pain. He shifted and turned under his weight. Waite was slim but still built.
Waite moved quickly and grabbed the camera in a frail grip. The landings’ grit metal dug into his knees. He was too dazed to function properly. The scents were the same, though Xander had grown.
Nice to see you.’ Before he rolled off Alekxandr, he kissed his cheek. ’You’ve grown a bit’
Waite had tried avoiding Alekxandr. Anywhere he felt that they might meet. Still, it had only been a year.
Waite? He saw he friend curl up into a fetal position. Waite just stayed on the landing and he watched the change.
Nigh nudged Waite’s head. Checking. Crack. Nigh jumped. Bones were breaking and moving. The screams that came were horrifying.
‘Nearly killed the kid.’ Nigh barely heard him speak.
Waite?

He stood a whole inch taller then he originally was, his body covered with fur as he dropped to all fours and stood as a huge wolf on the landing before he lunged forward and remained in free-fall for a moment before landing with a loud thud on the sidewalk below.
Alekxandr the lycanthrope snarled as the other drew near and came into site. A tall man with a long black jacket that slipped along the ground at the bottom stood in the center of the road, his white hair flicking about in the gentle breeze. "Isiah." The growl was low and gutteral as the youngest Prince of Darkness stood and smiled.
"Did you find anything useful today, Xandr? Or are you yet again late?" With a bark and a snap of his jaws the wolf shot towards the new arrival but was avoided with great ease. "What are you playing at Xandr? You know you can't land one on me." The bright-eyed boy smirked before lowering an elbow hard into Alekxandr's head, rendering him defenseless as he fell unconscious with the heavy blow.
Isiah nudged the slowly de-morphing boy in the brow a few times with the toe of his steel-caps before deciding that he truly was no out. "Why do you never learn?"

Artax jumped down from the wall and landed to face the cloaked figure. Something felt familiar, but he could never truly be sure.
Backing up a few paces he turned and made for his 'pet'. Taking her by the wrist he drew her close before, "This may hurt a little, with you still being attached to your body." He moved through space at the speed of light, with him protecting the girl with his magik she was able to do the same until they came to the opposite side of the park. They had not jumped far, but he felt it was safe enough.
Upon letting her go he moved in an instant to the branches of a near-by tree so he could sit and watch her; examine her; learn from her.

Waite turned the area around cool with rage, as he absorbed energy from the surroundings. The very metal that he laid on became covered in the frost that soon enveloped the whole landing.
Waite’s rage fed the hunger, but it was the image of his puppy unconscious on the ground that fed the rage itself. Yet the cooling effect was soon matched by the natural radiating heat of Isaiah. The result being a mildly cool atmosphere with two extremes of hot and cold.

(OOC: And Isaiah becomes my bai-boi again. ^^ Gosh I lubs'im.)
Isaiah Shinrae' turned to walk away. Before he took a step he looked back over his shoulder through the quickly forming steam and smiled. "Your little magic tricks are no less then a small matter to me, little boy." Though it was directed at Waite, he did not show manners enough to even turn and face the boy, but merely spoke over his shoulder showing utter disrespect for one who was - in his eyes - so much lower then himself.
With a scoff and the sound of his jacket fluttering on the wind as he proceeded down the middle of the vacant road.

(occ: umm.. Sorry if this post might offend. But, I wanted to use better word selection throughout to emphasise Waite's emotions. ^^ Waite stood on the landing and spoke aloud to the fool, 'I will show you a trick!' Midnight jumped into his arms, surprised by Waite's sudden movement, he simply assumed that Waite had half-planned something. Waite placed his hand into his pocket and pulled out a tarnished leather pouch that contained what he needed: a smoke bomb to mock strangers. Pouch opened; he threw the contents to the ground and immediately smoke dazed the assailant. 'Good Bye!' He yelled. ... Waite had gone, and so had Xander. After Waite had yelled "Good Bye!" he cast a spell to teleport himself to Alekxander and then all three to a refuge (Midnight was with Waite.)

Eyebrow raised, Isaiah took a moment to reflect on the actions just passed and shook his head. He would never understand lesser beings, nor did he care to, but some things just puzzled him beyond reason. This was one of the many.
He closed his eyes and breathed heavily before deciding best to leave it and do what he had to do. Alekxandr knew the limits and was a fool if he dared push them. No matter how far the stranger and he ran, Isaiah would not need worry.

'Wake up Xander,' said a woman's heavenly voice. A tone so sweet that you wouldn't have guessed that it came from a most horrid creature. Margret, the Refuge's owner, had been severely injured as a teenager. now, aged 45, she was well adjusted to her undesirable features.
'Wake up Xander,' Waite said with high concern. 'Come on!' impatient and worried. Xander had been knocked out cold.
