D N Angel: Good or Evil? Theory
This is what I usually contemplate when thinking of D N Angel (... when my thoughts aren't focused on one of the main characters I mean.)
They say it's difficult to determine who is evil or not in D N Angel. In the manga maybe, but in the anime it's blaringly obvious.
Dark's a thief - we all know that - so, wouldn't it make him bad? After all, stealing is "bad". *Rolls eyes* But - he's also doing it to seal the paintings so they don't cause havoc and chaos... so he's also good.
Daisuke's stuck in the middle of it all, but he was trained for the stealing... but he doesn't really need to know any of it as Dark would have known anyway... Though there is the thought if something happened to Dark.
Satoshi the head chief of police guy basically does his job, but let's Dark get away sometimes and gives him some hints. To help Daisuke, (come on people we all know he loves him.) and to lift the curse.
Krad - homicidal maniac - but... he's also out for self-preservation really. I mean he obviously doesn't want to be trapped in the Black Wings again. Plus sometimes he listens to Satoshi... or Satoshi's dad - especially Satoshi's dad. Anyway, I've gotten off topic, so in order not to be trapped again he thinks destroying Dark will stop it... and the curse. Though - when Dark seals Krad in the Black Wings he disappears as well (Even if Daisuke had not found his Sacred Maiden). The darkness can not live without the light and vice versa.
Satoshi's dad (Who I never bothered to learn the name of). Basically the power-hungry, manipulative... typical "villain" - with the exception that he turns "good" in the end. Basically his lust for power drove him to do "bad" things. Shows how easily humans can be bought off, ne?
Mio Hio - typical popular American. Okay, so we find out she's not as typical. She - like Krad - is looking out for self-preservation, wanting to stay human. She kept having doubts about Satoshi's dad (I actually think she loves him, but hey.) and about Daisuke. Finally she found she couldn't do anything to Daisuke - cause Daisuke changes people *Anime happy face*. So at first she would be classed as bad then later as good...
On a final note, there's a thin line between good and evil. In the manga the line between the two is blurred - after all, even bad guys do good things and good guys do bad. Who's evil and who's good? Look at everything from all sides, there's not only black and white.
(YahNe: OMFG! That's extremely crappy! LOLOLOLOL! OMG! Was I out of my mind when I wrote this?! Wait... I never had a mind, my mistake.)
